ABOUT US

PERPIT (Indonesian – Chinese Entrepreneur Association) which was established in 2001 in Indonesia is a non-profit organization. As an organization of Chinese Entrepreneurs and Businessmen community with good reputation and wide influence, at this moment PERPIT has 5 chapters in all over Indonesia. They are in East Java, West Java, Central Java, Bali including West Nusa Tenggara (NTB), East Nusa Tenggara (NTT), and East Kalimantan with the Head Office in Jakarta. Business aspects from the members of PERPIT are wide ranging covering almost every business sectors, among others, Manufacture, Export and Import, Mining, Seaport, Forestry, Banking, Insurance, Developer (Property & Real Estate), Construction, Information Technology, Textile, Food, many kinds of Merchandise and Retail, also Tourism.

PERPIT was established with an objective to improve the networking, mutual understanding and cooperation amongst members in an effort to increase the level of professionalism in a commitment as a businessman who participates and contribute to Indonesian economic development.

Today, PERPIT has become an important platform for companies in Indonesia and companies in the Greater China and other countries in the world.

With the changes of the new era, it is for sure that the challenges faced by the next generation will be harder and more complex in this globalization era, therefore it is crucial to (engage) the Young Generation of Chinese Entrepreneurs and Businessmen to be prepared, hence the need for PERPIT to create and establish a new division as a place for the  Young Chinese Entrepreneurs and Businessman to participate actively, to communicate and to interact and also to develop a networking & synergy amongst members.

To accomplish the above stated purposes, Youth PERPIT was formed based on  PERPIT Chairman’s Decision Letter Number: SKEP/001/08/III/2017 dated 08 March 2017 subject “The Establishment of Youth PERPIT Division/Unit”. Youth PERPIT is an association of Young Chinese-Indonesian Businessmen.

The inauguration and attestation the Chairman of Youth PERPIT and its organization structure with the dedication period from 2017 to 2022 is referring to PERPIT Chairman’s Decision Letter Number: SKEP/003/05/XII/2017 dated 05 December 2017.

The communication language in Youth PERPIT are Bahasa Indonesia and English due to many of the younger Indonesian Chinese generation are not fluent in speaking Mandarin. This is also to motivate the members to participate in Indonesian Economic and Social Development.  

The current (period of 2017-2022) Chairman of Youth PERPIT is Mr. Haryanto Adikoesoemo, owner and CEO of AKR Group.
